SKILLtester Australia - Online High Risk Licence Practice Assessments

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I pay for my assessment?
It's simple. Just click on the assessment you want to do and it will take you to a PayPal payment page. After you click to confirm your payment you will be directed back to your assessment.

PayPal safeguards your financial and personal information with industry-leading use of encryption and offers 100% protection against unauthorized payments. PayPal does not charge you any fees for the service and you do not need to sign up for an account with them or us.

2. Do I need a PayPal account?
No. A PayPal account is not necessary. You will be able to make a payment immediately by filling in your credit card information and billing details on the PayPal page.

3. What proof do I get that I did the online assessment?
You will be awarded a certificate when you complete the assessment with the required pass mark (90%). Your certificate can be accessed via the certificate link on your course menu.

4. Why can't I download my certificate?
Some browsers may require you to right click the certificate link and choose "Save Target As" to save it to your computer. If you are still unable to download it, please send an email to info@skilltester.com.au.

5. Does the certificate mean that I am licensed/qualified?
No. The certificate confirms that you passed the online assessment at skilltester.com.au. It does not authorise you to operate the equipment in Australia unless a current High Risk Licence in the relevant class is held.

6. Why didn't I get my registration confirmation email?
Some mail servers filter messages so check in your Bulk or Spam folder. If it is not in there, try registering using a different email address or send an email at info@skilltester.com.au and we will manually confirm your registration.

7. How many tries do I get?
You are allowed 3 attempts within the 10 day enrolment period. You can even pause/save midway thru an attempt and come back to it at a later time within that period.

8. How long do the assessments take?
You have 90 minutes total to complete each attempt. However, you can pause/save midway thru any attempt and come back to it. The timer will pause and start again when you do.

9. What do I need to do the assessments?
You will need access to a computer and the internet, a calculator (with a square root function) and pen & paper to write down your`working out'.
